This piece was written during the eclipses in Jan/Feb’18 and I’ve published a little piece of it a while back, but I haven’t felt ready to share the rest until now :) Writing always helps me when I’m going through a rough patch, and this piece emerged out of many journalling hours…I hope it may help or inspire you to be you, to show your magic to the world, to shed things that have held you back and to always trust your heart and soul because only they can lead you on the right path towards a life that is true and shaped by you. And one big thing I’ve learned along the way is that no matter how small, every single little step forward always always counts…
HERE I AM
I’m removing the clothes
that no longer fit
I am letting go of my ill fitting shell
and throwing my masks away
Naked I stand,
Vulnerable and scared
but no longer wounded
not as a victim
but as a Warrior
I conquered
the darkest lands
within me
and found my Soul
Hiding and lost
I cracked the cage
and the light crept in
until it was too strong to ignore
until I saw
and felt
Life
Resuscitation
of my Soul
my Spirit
of Me
Here I Am
Slowly gathering the pieces
and stitching them together
custom designed only to fit me
allowed to breathe and expand
adapting to my inner changes and time
Here I Am
I’m putting on my custom designed suit
strapping on my boots
because this is reality and you can’t walk around naked… :)
but I will show snippets of my illuminated witchy otherworldly skin
let it bare itself from underneath my clothing
like a gentle whisper escaping from beneath
from within
my Soul
out into the world and beyond
